Dr. Flint M. Espil is a Stanford-affiliated, licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety, OCD, and repetitive behavior disorders including Trichotillomania (Hair-Pulling Disorder), and Excoriation (Skin-Picking Disorder). Dr. Espil is also an expert in the assessment and behavioral treatment of Tic Disorders, including Tourette's Disorder. As an active member of the scientific community, Dr. Espil routinely publishes peer-reviewed, scientific papers to advance our understanding of the phenomenology and treatment of these disorders. Within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine he conducts clinical research trials aimed at improving mental health care for youth and their families.
Dr. Lindsay Trent is a Stanford-trained, licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety and associated disorders. She has extensive training, applied experiences, and a commitment to providing the most innovative, scientifically based interventions tailored to individual patient needs. Dr. Trent recently entered the private sector working on an effort to disseminate evidence-based practices and increase accessibility to quality services. She previously served as a Research Psychologist In the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine integrating empirically-based diagnostic assessment into clinical treatment of anxiety and related disorders.
